“Dreamscape Delivery” began as a poem, like many of my writings. However, as the story unfolded, it became clear that neither a poem nor a traditional short story– but a letter.
💔 A Reflection on Resilience
“Dreamscape Delivery” tells the story of two friends facing life’s challenges: one battling breast cancer and the other starting over after a divorce. Together, they embark on a triathlon that takes them from the snow-covered peak of Mount Elden to the blistering heat of the Grand Canyon. And showcasing the courage it takes to keep going when the way forward seems uncertain.
This story is deeply personal to me, inspired by my own experience completing a three-day triathlon across Arizona’s varied landscapes—from snowy heights to desert heat at different elevations.
