“Painting Dreams in Tuscany” Lost Volume Two Anthology of Modern Fiction

Behind the Scenes of ‘Painting Dreams in Tuscany’ 🎨🔍

I’m part of this incredible anthology called Lost – Vol 02: Stories of Missing Things, curated by the talented Jay Chakravarti and the CultureCult Press team. It’s a collection that brings together voices from all corners of the globe, and I’m thrilled to be one of them. 🌎✨

A Little Spark

My journey with this story began with a spark from a beloved quote in Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes:

“Life offers you a thousand chances… all you have to do is take one.”

Without giving too much away, let’s just say it involves an artist, a Tuscan villa, and a chance to chase long-lost dream. The actual storyline? Well, you’ll have to read it to find out.

The Creative Process
This story was a NaNoWriMo baby—born from the wild, caffeine-fueled adventure that is National Novel Writing Month). It was like sketching on a blank canvas, each word a stroke that slowly brought the picture to life.
